What is HackinDROM?

[HackinDROM is an] OpenCore bootloader EFI updater [that] works on macOS Catalina and newer. -https://github.com/Inqnuam/HackinDROM

Things You Will Need

• A USB flash drive at least 512 MB https://amzn.to/3wkR5ju | https://amzn.to/3qkrJ1p | https://amzn.to/3Nhu9b9

1. Download HackinDROM Download
2. Open Downloads in Finder
3. Right click HackinDROM > Open > Click OK to confirm opening the application
4. Click on HackinDROM in the menu bar
5. Click Skip to skip setting up the motherboard settings
6. Click Mount across from the current startup disk
7. Authenticate to allow mounting the EFI partition
8. Copy the EFI folder from the EFI partition to a USB flash drive as a backup in the event MacOS won't boot after updating OpenCore
9. Back in HackinDROM, right click the current startup disk > Update
10. After the update completes, double click Unmount across from the current startup disk
11. Reboot MacOS to verify the system still boots successfully
