Install FreeBSD 12 on VirtualBox<\/h2>\n

Download FreeBSD 12 Installer Image<\/h3>\n

Navigate to FreeBSD 12 downloads page<\/a> and grab an installer image for your respective system architecture. If you are running x86_64 system, you can simply run the command below to download the ISO image;<\/p>\n

Create Virtual Machine<\/h3>\n
Launch VirtualBox and create a new virtual machine. Set the name of the VM, select the type and the version of Operating System.<\/p>\n

Choose you preferred partitioning scheme. In this case, we are using MBR. Preview the disk setup, click Finish<\/strong> and commit the changes to create the partition.<\/p>\n

Select the network interface to configure. Configure IPv4 and DHCP. You can optionally choose to configure IPv6 addresses.<\/p>\n
