It can be used as a mail client, chat client, RSS and news client.<\/p>\n<p>Thunderbird is easy to set up and comes bundled with so many features. Some of the features include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It support security features such as SSL\/TLS connection to IMAP and SMTP servers.<\/li>\n<li>It supports HTML code insertion on message composure.<\/li>\n<li>Supports big size file linking instead of sending them as an attachment<\/li>\n<li>Supports junk\/spam filtering and whitelisting based on the address book.<\/li>\n<li>It supports quick search, advanced message filtering, message labeling to make it easy to find your messages.<\/li>\n<li>It can manage multiple email and multiple identities within accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a comprehensive list of features, check on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thunderbird.net\/en-US\/features\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thunderbird Features<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<h2>Installing Thunderbird Mail Client on Ubuntu 18.04<\/h2>\n<h3>Installing Thunderbird<\/h3>\n<p>Thunderbird is available on Ubuntu default repositories.
