We will therefore learn how to upload that iso to the VMware datastore so you can be able to install your <strong>VM<\/strong> seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Login to the VMware ESXi&nbsp; via vSphere client.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/vpshere-client-login.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"618\" height=\"595\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/vpshere-client-login.png\" alt=\"vpshere-client-login\" class=\"wp-image-1077\" title=\"\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">vpshere-client-login<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Once you have logged in, Navigate to <strong>Home &gt; Inventory &gt; Inventory &gt; Cofiguration <\/strong> and Click <strong>Storage<\/strong> on the left Hardware panel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/esxi-cofiguration-storage.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1260\" height=\"779\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/esxi-cofiguration-storage.png\" alt=\"esxi-cofiguration-storage\" class=\"wp-image-1079\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/esxi-cofiguration-storage.png 1260w, https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/esxi-cofiguration-storage-768x475.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1260px) 100vw, 1260px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">esxi-cofiguration-storage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you click on Storage, you will see your <strong>datastore<\/strong>. Right click on the datastore and click <strong>Browse Datastore <\/strong>to open Datastore Broswer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-broswer.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1271\" height=\"572\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-broswer.png\" alt=\"datastore-broswer\" class=\"wp-image-1080\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-broswer.png 1271w, https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-broswer-768x346.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1271px) 100vw, 1271px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">datastore-broswer<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the datastore browser, you can be able to see your folders as shown in the screenshot above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select a folder under which you will upload your ISO file, for example <strong>iso <\/strong>folder as in my case above. You can also create a new folder by clicking on the new folder icon<a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-new-folder-e1540392459117.png\">&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1084\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/datastore-new-folder-e1540392459117.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"19\" height=\"20\" title=\"\"><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have chosen the upload folder, right click on the cylindrical like icon with arrow facing up on the Datastore Browser menu bar, <a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-icon-e1540392748537.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1085\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-icon-e1540392748537.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"19\" title=\"\"><\/a>. Select <strong>upload file<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-file.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1320\" height=\"617\" src=\"http:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-file.png\" alt=\"upload-file-to-datastore\" class=\"wp-image-1081\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-file.png 1320w, https:\/\/kifarunix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/upload-file-768x359.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1320px) 100vw, 1320px\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">upload-file-to-datastore<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When you click <strong>ulpoad file<\/strong>, file manager wizard on your local machine opens up. Navigate to the location of the ISO file and select the iso to upload.
